Can you use a cactus to get a low current voltage to power something like a radio?
I saw it on MacGyver(I know it probably doesn’t work but I was just asking) He used red and black wires, cut two slits in the cactus, stuck the wires in, and hooked them to a battery operated radio.

Would this work in real life? If so, then how?

How do you spell the name of the greek goddess of discord? I think Its ares but it's not spelled like that?
She appears in Sinbad Legend of the seven seas and the class of titans.

Eris in Greek Mythology
The Greek goddess Eris was the personification of discord or strife. She appears in Hesiod’s Theogony as the daughter of Nyx (Night).
Eris played a significant part in Greek mythology. One of the most important legends in which she is involved begins with a wedding - the wedding of Peleus and Thetis, to be precise. Apparently, someone forgot to invite the goddess of discord to the festivities. That was the first mistake in a long chain of disastrous events. For Eris simply showed up at the wedding anyway, with mayhem on her mind. When she arrived, the goddess tossed a golden apple into the crowd of famous faces. This tempting apple was tagged with the phrase "to the fairest".

Anyone who's read 'The Jungle' by Upton Sinclair?
Please i really need the info, i wish i knew how to give you points but if i did i would; tell me that too
any who PLEASE i need the fallowing info:
1.What P.O.V. (point of view) is it in; how do you know, clues from text?
2.What is the main Conflict? (man vs. man, man vs. self, or man vs. nature)
I read the book but these questions have me stump. :(

Yes, like Hello and sparknotes both say, it’s a third-person narrator (quasi-omniscient: which means the narrator knows most of the things about each one of the characters) but it mainly focuses on Jurgis. We can see this by looking at the narrator’s description of scenes that take place outside of Jurgis’s line of sight. For example, the narrator tells the reader about the conditions of Ona’s workplace and the workplace of the children, etc. We can see that the narrator focuses mainly on Jurgis though, because after he leaves home, the narrator follows him rather than staying with the remainder of the family.

I personally think that the conflict is predominately "man vs. man," although I really think you could make a case about any of them. To me though, the most prevailing conflict seems to be man v. man.

my reasoning:
Man runs the meat-packing industry at which Jurgis works; it’s man-driven exploitation, not a force of nature or a force from within oneself that requires the men to work unhealthy, dangerous shifts. The big men keep the little men oppressed to make money for themselves and to keep the workers in their place. The struggle is between the workers and the bosses more so than it is between any other forces.

On a related note:
The question you posted asks for the MAIN conflict, which, like I said, I believe is "man vs. man" (i.e. the common man versus "The Man"), but there are definitely conflicts between man verses self and between man versus nature. The "man vs. self" conflict comes from Jurgis’s struggle with himself over his inability to provide for his family and his choice to desert his family and go off on his own. The man versus nature conflict comes into play after he has already fled. That conflict lies in the survival of the harsh weather while living on the streets.

About your question of how to award points:
You give points by choosing a best answer.
A few hours after you’ve posted your question, you can click on your post, and there are buttons below each response that allow you to pick a "best answer." The buttons probably aren’t there yet because you just posted this two hours ago, but if you check back tomorrow or later tonight you’ll be able to see what I’m talking about.
