Which movie is better? Lord of the Rings - The two towers, or Lord of the Rings - The return of the king?
Totally agree with Punk. You can’t just watch one and not the others. If this could have been one 9-11 hour movie, it would be. But since it couldn’t, we have to deal with 3 3-4 hour long movies. But I felt Return of the King was the best. But I would never watch that without first watching the first two.

You cant have one without the other two. All 3 are like ONE BIG movie.
they all work together to complete 1 story. All have great effects, scenes, and timeline..

All 3! but the best overall would be the return of the king.

the return of the king

like the third one the best because it’s the end and the sweet elephant scene. But like the other guy said…it’s one giant movie.

very hard to decide but if i had to pick one then it would be the 2nd one with the awesome war scene

I completely agree with the other posters in that you can’t take one of these movies without the other and of these two choices, Return of the King is the clear winner. However, I felt that Fellowship was the best of the three as it was the closest to the book and Two towers was the absolute worst because it seemed to just throw the book out the window and write their own story for it….pissed me off the first time I saw it, and still does today.
Return of the King also made unnecessary changes (Faramir taking Frodo to Osgiliath? I don’t freaking think so), but it was better than Two Towers.
