I need feedback on my ideas for my new series of books. They are only short stories, as I am only in my second year at High School, and I have not yet mastered how to stretch out stories to make them longer.

There will be about 5 books. The first is called Undiscovered Witch, the second is called Jinx, the third is Black Magic, the forth is Moonshine and the last one is Under A Spell. The whole series will be named after the school, Darke Vale Academy.

He is planning what is suppose to be his last job, and everything is going smoothly until some come in before he can leave. He hides in a secret room and from behind a one-way mirror sees that it’s the wife of the owner of the house he is robbing and another man. They are fooling around when the guy decides to liven things up by striking her, she get away but he corners her, she then grabs a letter opener and is about to stab him when he cries out for help when two men come in and shoot her dead. It seems that the man is Alan Richmond, the President of the United States and the two men are the secret service agents assigned to him. Later, a woman, Gloria Russell, who is his Chief of Staff enters and upon learning of what has happened, decides to cover it up and make it appear that she was killed by a burglar. After sanitizing the room, they are about to leave but they forget the letter opener, Whitney comes out of the room and takes it and makes his getaway but when they returned for the letter opener they discover Whitney and chase him but he gets away. The police investigate the murder and there are so many inconsistencies, which makes the investigator, Seth Frank suspect that something is going on. Frank then discovers that Whitney is a possible suspect but the only thing is that he doesn’t believe that Whitney is a killer. Whitney tries to leave town but when he learns just how corrupt and amoral Richmond is he decides to play mind games with him and the others. Richmond, at the same time, tells them that Whitney must be silenced permanently.

I really like this girl what should I do?
So the girl I really like is a senior and I’m a sophmore. is it possible for a teacher to feel akward around you?
I’m new to a school, and i’m a senior. In my last class, I have chemistry which is great because it’s one of my favorite classes. My teacher, who is young at 30, is very akward around me, but in the beginning it wasn’t really like this. He talks to all the students like he’s comfortable with them, and is very kind and admirably smart. When he tells us what we are going to do for the day, he usually groups everyone up, and then he personally explains to me the same thing, but has me working alone or with just one other girl. I usually like all my teachers, and I think he’s cool, but his akwardness is starting to make me feel akward too. He sometimes doesn’t look me in the eye, when i’m asking him a question. He’ll just tell me and he keeps his eyes on the overhead, but not with the other students. We, one time, ended up talking about something irrelevant to the subject and I told him why I moved to this new school, and he told me about when he was in school and the things he did when he was younger. He seemed very friendly that day, but there wasn’t much kids in the class that day because a lot chose to go to some fieldtrip, I think. When all the students were back, he was sort of akward around me again. So, i’m wondering why he would act so akward. He always tells me bye when we leave the class, and I just go along with it. But, I sure do wish I knew why he acts like that with me. I’m like the only girl in that class, and there’s just one other girl there that is taking chemistry. He’s not weird around her. He’s almost like…embarassed or something, and I don’t know why. Why would he be like that with me only? Scared of C-Section Again?
I have had two c-sections. Both times I have had panic attacks. I have to undergo a third c-section and I am freaking out. I am so scared of another attack in the delivery room. I have been taking Lexapro because my doctor told me to take it to help my anxiety, however, I still feel scared. I have tired telling my doctor and husband, but everyone keeps telling me to relax. However, I just can’t.

I am scared of the feelings of a panic attack and feeling like you are dying. I am afraid of the oxygen mask because I feel like I am unable to breathe even though the mask is supposed to help you breathe. I am afraid of the pressure feeling when they take the baby out.

I have asked to have medicine to help calm me or put me to sleep, but they said it is a risk to the baby. I feel so scared sometimes that I will have a panic attack, that I actually put myself into one. I feel so alone right now and I was wondering how other moms managed to get through it.

You would think after having two already, I would not freak out, but I cannot help it. I really do not want a panic attack, but I am almost certain I will even though I tell myself I will be fine.

They CAN put you completely to sleep for a c section!

You need a second opinion from another doctor. I have a panic disorder myself and my babe (who showed up wednesday!) was breech and we had talked c section and they assured me they could put me totally under.

The thought of them cutting me open makes my heart burst out of my chest and even if the c section didnt kill me i would still surely die.

Do you have no one that can help you? For what reason are you having the c section? I’ve had one c section and there are more to come. I’m very petite and big babies run in my family. My daughter was almost 10 lbs and she was 22 inches AND breech. -.- the reason I’m telling you these things is because I know what you’re going through. (I’m actually hating on the recovery part more.) ask your mom or dad to be there with you. I was terrified when I had her because my husband was deployed and misse the birth by 3 days (thx to the army lol) and I was so glad I had my parents there. Helped a lot!! —- also, think long and hard about if you want to be put to sleep or not. It might be easier, but you won’t be able to see your child when he/she firsts comes out and you’ll wake up hours later in a foggy mess! (I didn’t do that, my mom did however with 1 of her 4)

C-sections are a scary thing, I have had 4 of them within 6 year time period, i’m not going to tell you to relax because you can’t it’s a very nerve racking procedure. You can ask them not to have the oxygen mask on you unless you need it, I only used it once when I had too.

The reason they don’t put you to sleep is because once your under they have to "tube you", meaning they stick a tube down your throat to help you breath. Also the medication they have to give you can be harmful to the child and putting a patient asleep is only done under needed circumstances.

Talk to your doctor about maybe getting a muscle relaxient or something to help ease you up, I found meditation and just asking other mother’s who had multiple c-sections to share their experiences with me made me more at ease.

I wasn’t suppose to have any more babies after my 2nd due to my thin uterine scar and I had two more with no complications, even being anemic I came out fine and on top thanks to the dr and nurses. Be assertive with your dr in the fact you feel you might need some sort of sedative to help you out so your delivery can go as stress and anxiety free as possible.

I was very scared during my c-section too. I was embarrassed because I knew mentally that I shouldn’t have been so overwhelmed. I would visualize doing it again and work on your breath and practicing relaxing. Take yourself out of the moment and know that it will be fine. Sometimes it helps to think of myself in the third person. If I was a friend of mine, what would I tell them to help me? I try to tell myself those things. Focus on being able to see the baby soon when you are lying there. Hold someone’s hand, even if it’s a nurse. Good luck!

I’ve actually seen women go completely under for a C-section. The babies might come out sleepy, but they’re fine. I saw one woman put under what I’m pretty sure was laughing gas for the C-section of her twins. The babies were perfectly fine and suffered no ill-effects from something so light.

Get a second opinion, some doctors are completely pig-headed and assume they’re never wrong.

Is Batman is the greatest Super-hero of all time?
Think about it, he has the highest grossing superhero film franchise grossing over 2.6 billion! He has the best gallery of villains i.e The Joker, Mr Freeze, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, Cat-woman, Penguin ETC He has all those classic cartoons like Batman: The Animated Series (which, in some websites and articles is ranked the number one cartoon of all time) and Batman Beyond. He probably has the best array of superhero comics like Return of the Dark Knight, Death in the Family, The Killing Joke, Batman:Year One ETC He has recently sold very well in the gaming market as well with MK vs DC, LEGO Batman and of course, Batman:Arkham Asylum which has won the World Record for ‘Most Critically Acclaimed Superhero game’. Superman a failure? What are you on? Bob Kane noticed Siegel and Shuster’s overall success with Superman and wanted to get in on the action, and DC needed more heroes that were as successful as Superman. Superman is the epitome of American justice’s idealized reputation, moreover, he’s an icon.

Batman the greatest superhero? Well, being a regular man, uh, aside from all of the money and the high-tech toys, he is fairly easy to relate with. He’s a human man who seeks justice. It provides a sort of realism that people appreciate. He is also very capable, I mean, he’s only human, yet he’s able to knock out so much scum and ally himself with those of superhuman abilities.

He’s incredibly, psychologically strong. His parents were murdered in front of him as a child. Instead
of taking his misfortunes out on Gotham- like The Joker does-, and avenging his loss by harming innocent people, he wants to ensure that similar situations happen less frequently by stamping out crime. He is also able to effectively separate Bruce Wayne from Batman, which is important for many superheroes, although psychologically tolling.

The greatest superhero? That’s subjective. The most successful superhero? Well, statistically, that’s Superman (in the actual, material world anyway). But without a doubt, Batman exemplifies human strength, intelligence, and the good of human character, and therefore joins the ranks with the greatest superheroes of all-time.

How can I stop filesharing on my wireless home network?
I own a property with two lodgers who share my wireless internet connection. I’m aware that they fileshare, so I asked them not to do so as I dont want the stress of a lawsuit if it came to it. But of course, they still do!
I have a basic router, what can I do to either permanently block filesharing or perhaps introduce a log-in that is effective enough to ensure responsibility lies with an individual and not the owner of the connection? Thank you for your time

You need an advanced router or a server PC to introduce a login procedure.

I think by "fileshare" you mean P2P sharing, like torrents.

Almost all routers have a facility to block named websites. And most routers allow you to check web activity. So you can find what torrent sites are being used by your lodgers and block those sites.

You need to make sure your router has a login that only you know, otherwise they will be able to change your settings.

you could simply password the router, or if your router is close to your pc, get and rj45 ethernet cable, connect that to your pc then simply turn off wireless on the router, unless you have another computer or games console connected to it, if so, then passwork locking the router would be the best way of blocking other users from your network

you can go into your router using this address, 192.168.2.1, (usually) and there should be options in there to set up passwords and I think, options to block users too tho I’m not 100% sure (there is on mine)

also may I suggest finding a little bit more about your router and buying a belkin or netgear router prefferably classed n or n1, because they both have very good security settings and can be set up in a matter of minutes, you’ll then have full control on your internet

I saw it on MacGyver(I know it probably doesn’t work but I was just asking) He used red and black wires, cut two slits in the cactus, stuck the wires in, and hooked them to a battery operated radio.

Would this work in real life? If so, then how?
